8 years ago, JoAnna started her career in the tourism industry after many years of passionately traveling and experiencing new cultures. Her love for travel started when moving from New York to Nebraska as a young child and frequently traveling between the two states. The vast difference piqued her interest for a need to see everything and explore how other cultures live.

During her first 7 years in the industry, she learned from seasoned advisors with a long list of knowledge at a wonderful agency. In 2019, JoAnna was selected to serve on the board of advisors for that company to give her input on best practices and new ideas for advisors moving forward. During her career, she have been selected for many experiential trips with suppliers and has done multiple training opportunities along with her involvement with Virtuoso. JoAnna has been fortunate enough to have experienced many adventures such as dune bashing in Qatar, privately exploring Machu Picchu, Great White Shark cage diving in South Africa, cliff diving in Croatia, and many more.

In spring of 2022, JoAnna became an independent contractor and started her own agency, J Luxe Travel. This last year, she has overcome the challenges of starting a new business and has surpassed her previous sales. She’s also developed more meaningful relationships with peers and suppliers in the industry.

J Luxe Travel focuses on designing experiential trips that will leave an impact on clients for the rest of their lives. It’s not just about setting foot in a location, but what you get out of the experience. JoAnna is proud to own a business in an exciting and rewarding industry that she loves.
